Self-Assessment

Studying abroad is quite a challenge and implies a big investment in money and time. It is important that you find a programme suitable to your background. The first step is to check whether your Bachelor's Degree equipped you with the prerequisites necessary for studying our programme successfully. For this purpose we have created a self-assessment test which will give you a good idea of the entrance level expected.

You first need to create an account and then do the test. The self-assessment test is available in English. If the information appears in German, just change the language (top right hand side).

The one time key needed for your first time registration is: icemaster. Once you get to the list of the courses available, please look for the Master ICE section.

The results of the test will not be used for selection purposes. The test was primarily conceived for your personal self-evaluation.

In order to further assess your eligibility for our Master Programme we recommend that you to go through the Engineering Prerequisites for ICE carefully and precisely. Please mark all subjects / contents which were covered completely during your undergraduate studies as well as the areas you are not proficient in. This self-evaluation is important for you so that you have a good idea of the entrance level expected. Be honest with yourself. Being aware of one’s strength and weaknesses is one of the keys to success.
